Travel & Lifestyle | A How-To Guide on discovering the #VegasYou with Catherine & I!
By now you’ll know that Catherine & I took a trip to Las Vegas recently to co-celebrate turning 33 years old this year. Over almost twenty years of friendship. As I continue to hop around the world for DoTheDaniel.com, I wanted to share our experiences with you all in case you weren’t able to share in the excitement while we were there. If you follow us on Instagram, you would have definitely seen all of the craziness we got up to! And if you don’t follow us already, do so now to keep up with all of our other adventures. We’re looking at growing our following so it would be great if you could help, alternatively, we might use Kicksta instead. From exploring the strip to horseback riding at sunset, Las Vegas has so much to offer. The lights are really what defines a tourists’ view of Vegas, so if you want to read more about the history of them, there are articles from the likes of NeonMama.com that are very enlightening. There were so many things that we didn’t get a chance to do either. For example, Las Vegas is known for its multiple casinos, but we didn’t have time to go and visit one. That was probably a good thing, neither of us are that good at casino games. Next time we visit, we’ll have to make time to go to a casino. As long as we brush up on our skills by playing mega888, or something similar, we should be able to win some games in a real casino. Vegas casinos are full of people who know what they’re doing, so we’d need some time to practice. Anyway, we’d definitely visit there again. Come see how you too can discover the #VegasYou by booking your next trip with Expedia.ca! Continue reading “Travel & Lifestyle | A How-To Guide on discovering the #VegasYou with Catherine & I!”
Travel & Lifestyle | Come see why I’m taking off to Vegas with my BFF for my birthday!
A lifestyle blogger & a holistic nutritionist are taking a trip to Las Vegas to celebrate their birthdays. Sounds like the beginning of a really great story, wouldn’t you say? It’s actually the beginning of an exciting adventure that Catherine & I decided to take this year to co-celebrate turning 33 years old. When we realized that it was finally time to experience Vegas together, it only made sense to book using the new Expedia.ca/Vegas website since it could help us create the trip of a lifetime. When people mention Vegas, one of the first things they may think of is visiting a casino. If this is not something that interests you, knowing that you have to option to check out sites like eurocasino could make the vegas experience a whole lot easier, especially as you can do this within the comfort of your hotel room. Anyway, come and see why we decided it was time to embrace the #VegasYou ideal and what we have planned for our BFF birthday trip! Looking back on 2016, but always moving forward.
I woke up this morning to my phone buzzing. Emails arrived like clockwork, and before I could even gather my thoughts after landing back in Toronto late last night, Monday was screaming for my attention. I sit here and stare at my computer screen with a sense of urgency, beating back the stress of too much work and not enough time. Where do I even start on this never ending to-do list? Brands that want to collaborate are calling. Contracts are signed and now I need to deliver. New business partnerships are coming from around the world… and I know that this year has helped to propel me to a whole new level when it comes to running this business that was once just a dream. I’m thinking I might even need some form of outsourced bookkeeping services in the future if things get even bigger.
I don’t think there is anything wrong in admitting that I am proud of what 2016 has become for me professionally. Looking back, I need to thank the year for teaching me more in eight months than I have learnt in 32 years of life. There were very dark moments. But there were so many more moments of light, love, and magic. Today I wanted to take a minute to thank a few people in my life who have helped to show me what it means to be human, whether they know it or not. Perspective is a funny thing, and I am looking at what it means to be humbled by love and life. Continue reading “Looking back on 2016, but always moving forward.”
