Food & Drink | We share how easy it is to make it a #ProntoNight with Barilla Canada

It’s no surprise that we love Barilla Canada and have enjoyed cooking with their quality products over the years time and time again (click here to see what I mean.) I know that I personally cook all the time and am quite familiar with pasta dish making. The true test of how easy Barilla Pronto is to use would come when I sent Julio to the special #ProntoNight event on our behalf to see if he was comfortable using the newest pasta to create a dish of his own. He loved how easy it was to create a beautiful Latin inspired pasta with chorizo, beans and olives all in just ten minutes. So much so that I find him wanting to create new #ProntoNight pasta creations all the time now! I liken it to getting the kids involved in the kitchen to learn and develop a love for cooking – no offense hunny. When it comes to the colder months in Canada, is there anything more comforting than a delicious home-cooked meal with family & friends? Food & Drink | Thanksgiving is great, but Friendsgiving is better!

I think as I’ve gotten older, I have come to appreciate that time at home with friends is more important than I once thought. There is something so relaxing about gathering together a few friends over a delicious home cooked meal, some good wine, and much needed laughs. I was reminded of just that when I sat down with friends and colleagues at Antler Kitchen & Bar to enjoy a delicious meal created by Chef Michael Hunter paired with four of the nine new wines that are hitting shelves just in time for the fall at your local LCBO. So much so, that I am planning my very own ‘Friendsgiving’ before the Thanksgiving season begins. Eat, drink and be merry this summer with #RingboltWines

I am SO happy that summer has finally arrived!
