I am happy to share that I’ve started 2017 with a renewed sense of balance. Yes, I am working towards a healthier me inside and out. But I am not restricting myself from indulging in the finer things in life either. You’ll remember that last year we shared our #KFCisForChicken experience from farm-to-table (literally!) and since that point, I feel better knowing that KFC Canada chicken served in their local restaurants is real, Canadian, farm-raised chicken. If it’s a new year, why are you still having the same ol’ bad night’s sleep?

When it comes to living a healthy lifestyle, one of the main factors in your overall health is sleep. I won’t jump the gun on Catherine’s upcoming sleep post in partnership with Casper (I got a preview and it is something you do NOT want to miss!), but I can share from personal experience that adding Casper to our lives was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. And now that Catherine understands first hand what I mean, you’ll be seeing a lot more from us about sleep when we aren’t taking a quick nap. Are you Super Bowl Sunday ready?

Super Bowl 2017 is around the corner, and though this may surprise many of you, I look forward to it every year. NO, not just because this year Lady Gaga will be performing the Half Time Show. I think it has something to do with the fond memories of getting excited for the big game with my Dad when I was growing up. Oh and maybe the fact that this time I’ve placed a bet on the SuperBowl results using the likes of Sportsbooks.ag, let’s hope for some winnings! It’s a bit different to now than when I was growing up… My mom would get all the best snacks ready for days beforehand, my Dad would usually scream at the television as a good sports fan does, and we would all talk about how silly it was that we couldn’t see those coveted US #SuperBowl commercials in Canada. He even used a betting site similar to FanDuel, which got him further immersed into the game! It was a family event and one that I genuinely look back on and cherish all these years later.
