A How To Guide To Feeling Beautiful This Summer

I remember the first time I walked into Saks Fifth Avenue’s Toronto location at the corner of Yonge & Queen with Julio. His eyes lit up as we walked into the stores iconic fashion and beauty departments. Known for years in my mind as a destination we had to visit every time we went to NYC, it was nice to know that the brand we had respectively come to love was finally in our city. While I’ve come to memorize the space (and designer bags Julio points out to me regularly), one of the things I have come to love most about Saks is their beauty and fragrance departments. While I used to feel out of place, their associates have really helped make those topics understandable and approachable for me.

A Date Day Idea That Might Surprise You

You’ll notice I’ve been on the hunt for date night and date ideas lately that are a little “outside the box.” While going to the movies or grabbing dinner is fun (and very important for that special someone) – it’s equally important to find experiences that you can share with your loved one that allow you to connect in new ways. One of my favourite parts of 2019 has been exploring more art and exhibits around the city. I was lucky enough to be invited to Hamilton thanks to my friends at Milli to see the new exhibit at the Art Gallery of Hamilton entitled Milli: A Celebration of Style and I realized it might be one of the best date day ideas you could have this year.

A Recipe For Success

I have come to not only love fashion over the years, but really appreciate it and it’s importance. Whether it’s my choice to support more ethical brands or finding a collaboration that speaks to my personal style, each item in my closet is a reflection of who I am today and who I want to be tomorrow. A few weeks ago I found out about the artistic and socially conscious LACOSTE x KEITH HARING collection from Lacoste and I fell in love with the idea of fashion and art coming together in a recipe for success. So it only made sense that I tell you all about it so you too can find inspiration this spring and all year long!

When You Wish Upon A Star

Well hello hello my friends. I hope that you’re all staying warm and enjoying the fact that Spring is (almost) right around the corner. Although I love a picturesque Canadian winter, I can say that I’m personally coming to the end of this year’s admiration of the colder weather.

With a new season around the corner, it’s also time to start thinking of new items for my wardrobe. While I have never claimed to be a fashionista, I am very lucky to have become a fan of collaborations and brands that speak to me and my busy life. You’ll have seen that (slowly) over the years I have really taken to dressing my best with the help of some spectacular brands. So when I found out about the newly launched Disney x Coach Collection, to say I was excited would be an understatement!
