Yet Another Reason to Visit Montreal

With the summer months around the corner and sunshine shinning on my face today while I catch up on emails I find myself feeling inspired to plan travel and day trips with Julio. Our Kia Canada Seltos is ordered and on the way, and it would be a shame if I didn’t take advantage of being so close to Montreal while we live in Ottawa – in case you didn’t have enough reasons to visit the city, a new experience just launched at one of my favourite hotels in the city and I want to tell you all about it!

A Show Stopping Launch You Need to See

For those of you who have been following along with Julio and I over the years, you’ll know that we have loved attending events and bringing you along with us for them. I’m a social person and I LOVE experiencing new things – so when the world seemed to stop amid the pandemic and everything since and events stopped, I lost something I loved. With a sense of moving forward finally taking place, events and in person launches are back, and some would say better than ever. Over the span of eight years, you would assume that I have shared (and probably overshared) everything you could possibly imagine about who I am. The fun part about the blog is that it has grown and evolved, changed and changed again with me as I did the same. All these years later, I still get excited to share intimate moments and memories to help you understand me as a person. Looking Back & Moving Forward

When I think back on the last almost eight years with Julio, there are a lot of incredible memories to be grateful for. That being said, just like in any relationship, there are some moments that changed the direction of our marriage and relationship forever. I am not one to rehash the past or our mistakes respectively, but I thought it was time to talk about how unsafe I felt during some of those moments and how I was able to find stability and safety again in my life during very unsure times.
