Yet Another Reason to Visit Montreal

With the summer months around the corner and sunshine shinning on my face today while I catch up on emails I find myself feeling inspired to plan travel and day trips with Julio. Our Kia Canada Seltos is ordered and on the way, and it would be a shame if I didn’t take advantage of being so close to Montreal while we live in Ottawa – in case you didn’t have enough reasons to visit the city, a new experience just launched at one of my favourite hotels in the city and I want to tell you all about it!

I honestly sometimes forget how much I love going home to the city – born in Montreal on the west island, I have to admit that I don’t get back nearly enough. Be it for the best bagels in Canada, or the opportunity to see family, dance all night with Julio or enjoy some of the best food in the world, Montreal is like no other city in all the right ways!

You’ll all remember that Julio and I visited The W Montreal many years ago and haven’t stopped raving about it since. Once of the chicest spots in the city to see and be seen, it’s no shock that they have launched the Champagne Box in partnership with Moet Chandon.

The Champagne Box is an ephemeral, intimate and private tasting space with a maximum capacity of 6 people, designed with the theme of effervescence. Whether it is to celebrate the end of the year or to mark a special occasion such as a birthday, the Champagne Box gives rise to a tasting of three emblematic cuvées from Moët & Chandon.

Products for tasting in the Champagne box:
• Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut
• Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut – Rosé
• Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage Brut (or rosé) 2013

The experience lasts (1) hour and includes three ( 3) cuvées (glasses) for tasting.
$95 / pers. before taxes and service.

You can of course enjoy this fabulous immersive experience for yourselves just like Julio & I will be many times in the coming months by clicking here to reserve.

For YEARS I’ve been praying that one day I’ll have a Moët & Chandon of my very own. If someone over at the brand is listening, I’m JUST SAYING, that my 40th birthday is next year and it would be the best present ever 😉
