The work week is half way done and I am left dreaming of the weekend to come. Although I would by no means consider us famous and rich, I personally believe the same can be true for bloggers and influencers in this industry. Events | #OasisAtShangrila

I have no doubt that if you were using social media in Canada in the last few days you would have seen the #OasisAtShangrila hashtag via various social media platforms. On July 8th, Shangri-La Hotel Toronto played host to its first ever Fashion show with runway and all. But what made the space so perfect for VITAMIN A, a line of swimwear designed by the talented Amahlia Stevens? The runway itself was built atop the fifth floor pool and created quite literally an Oasis of fashion & beauty in the heart of downtown Toronto. Food & Wine | Recipieces.ca & You

For the majority of us, life is full of to do lists, chores and errands that take up our energy and time. Not to mention work, family & friends, we also have to find the time to be inspired to cook delicious and nutritious meals at home after it all. Some days are easier then others, and sometimes we succumb to the inevitable take out because it is just too easy. I have written about other brands and companies that try to solve that problem of inspiration and convenience in the kitchen by bringing everything you need to the door. Recently I was asked to try out Recipieces.ca, a delivery system that brings pre-portioned fresh ingredients and delicious recipes to you.
