If there is one thing I am a sucker for, it’s salty snacks. I enjoy sweet and I crave spicy, but only something salty can scratch that snack itch when I get a craving. There is something so satisfying about a potato chip in my mind. I wish I could say that I can have just one (avoiding THAT slogan because I don’t want to get sued)… but when Julio & I find a flavour and brand we love, that’s usually never the case. Toronto | Taste of Toronto marks its debut
I’m still in awe at how quickly the summer is flying by me and the team. But I guess what they say is true.. time flies when you’re having fun! One of the most anticipated food festivals of the year is about to take place. Yes, that’s right ladies and gentlemen, Taste of Toronto‘s debut is happening this month and you aren’t going to want to miss this! Taste Festivals have been taking place around the world and finally Toronto has come on board to join the global community of food lovers and businesses alike. “Everywhere it goes, Taste represents a gourmand’s dream come true: delicious food created by the city’s greatest restaurants, world famous chefs, superb drink and outstanding entertainment, set in stunning outdoor surroundings.” Taking place July 24th – 27th at Fort York, this incredible gathering is going to set the bar high for future food festivals. For the majority of us, life is full of to do lists, chores and errands that take up our energy and time. Not to mention work, family & friends, we also have to find the time to be inspired to cook delicious and nutritious meals at home after it all. Some days are easier then others, and sometimes we succumb to the inevitable take out because it is just too easy.
