It is no shock that I try to share fun new ways to travel and how to accomplish the same experience with you and your loved ones as often as I can. I think that’s actually been one of my favourite parts here at the blog – travel feeds the soul and allows me the chance to have experiences like no other.

Staying in quaint hotels and farms just north of the city of Toronto, to jet-setting around the world, it’s something that has been a lot of fun to share with you. Finding Romance in The Mountains

While many of you aren’t going to like the following statement, I am excited that the fall is on its way. My favourite season, it offers me sweater weather, cuddling on the couch more, and all things seasonally and emotionally warm. That being said, I have to admit this summer may have been my favourite one yet here at the blog because I made a concerted effort to reconnect with the important things in life in order to remember what is most important. So let me tell you about how I rediscovered romance on a whole new level in the mountains just a quick trip away from Toronto – you might be surprised at how easy it is to do for you and that special someone too!

Experiencing Halifax in the best way possible

For those of you who follow along with Julio & I on social media, you’ll have seen that in partnership with Marriott International and Marriott Traveler, we recently took a trip to Halifax. I also realized that this marked a trip to both the east and west coast of Canada as we continue to #TravelWithMarriottCanada. That’s a huge accomplishment for us, and with so many beautiful cities and properties to visit, we couldn’t be more proud to continue to share our adventures with you. This Valentine’s Day, you deserve to reward yourself.

I like to believe that life is about experiences rather than belongings. I am far more inclined to want to plan a trip or romantic meal with Julio. This Valentine’s Day, I have decided that Julio & I need a break and some well deserved quality time together. Over the last year, as I have been travelling for work, I have been avidly collecting Marriott Rewards and saving them for something special. I love how my hotel stays in Canada accumulate points that I can use around the world! SO this Valentine’s Day I am surprising Julio with a trip full of romance and beautiful experiences.
