Holiday Magic Is Believing

As a HUGE holiday person, I am usually the most excited of all of my friends when it comes time to get into the spirit of the season. Be it putting up my tree first, or starting the holiday shopping and wrapping (my favourite part of the whole season if I’m being honest is the wrapping. I’m quite good at it!), it makes me so happy to spread the holiday magic with those I love most. So when my friends at Walmart Canada asked me to join in on the excitement of the #TrackTeddy campaign to coincide with their recent commercial, I jumped at the chance! While making my list, and checking it twice, I got to thinking about what items from Walmart Canada I will be picking up this holiday season and I wanted to share them with you all.

For the Love of Last-Minute Shopping

The countdown is on and there are only a few weeks left until the big day! Let’s get real, I don’t want to repeat the same scramble of last year trying desperately to figure out what to get and coming up a little short. I tend to sometimes forget a few people on my list when it come to some of my extended family and friends and then I become the fabulous last-minute shopper.  This year when I go out for last-minute gifts (December 23rd or 24th) I know where I’ll be heading. The Holidays Just Got Better

My holiday gift list can get crazy, I give gifts to family, friends, my darling son (he gets a bit more than the average gift amount), teachers, co-workers and more as I sometimes find items that are perfect for the students I teach or clients I help. Sometimes these gifts can be simple stocking stuffers and other times they are bigger items meant for the home, kitchen and beyond. A Truly Canadian Christmas

For those of you who follow along on our #DoTheDaniel adventures on our Instagram stories (and if you don’t – what are you waiting for?! We have loads of fun over there!) you’ll have seen that I was recently invited to Canadian Tire’s Christmas House party. With seven rooms devoted to seven CANVAS colours: red, gold, silver, blue, white, brights and serene rose (my personal favourite) it was like stepping inside Christmas itself. With garlands and tinsel and sparkles (oh my!) I was lucky enough to view their entire Holiday line-up. I was able to get ideas for my wishlist to Santa started nice and early, but I also came to realize that Canadian Tire is incredibly versatile when it comes to helping us create beautiful memories for the holidays and beautiful spaces in our homes. Above and beyond the ribbon and wrapping, there were several furniture items I now need to see if Santa can fit in his sleigh for me!
