The countdown is on and there are only a few weeks left until the big day! Let’s get real, I don’t want to repeat the same scramble of last year trying desperately to figure out what to get and coming up a little short. I tend to sometimes forget a few people on my list when it come to some of my extended family and friends and then I become the fabulous last-minute shopper. This year when I go out for last-minute gifts (December 23rd or 24th) I know where I’ll be heading. It’s no surprise that Best Buy Canada has a smart last-minute gift guide from wearable tech to rest and relaxation. Check out these 5 items you need to pick up all when there isn’t much time left!
- Bring a gift for the Hostess withthe Most-ess
Holiday parties are fun and it’s always great to bring a gift for the person putting everything together. They’ve really taken the time to make sure everyone is well fed and having a good time. Why not bring them the Google Home Mini? It’s perfect for the home with sound performance and synchronicity. Also, if your host has an office at home this would be the perfect compliment to help them stay organized digitally in the New Year.
2. Gorgeous and Classic!
I’m sure you know someone who loves their fitness routine! Why not bring the gift of the classic timepiece with a twist? The Fossil Q Gen 4 Explorist, FitBit Versa and Samsung Galaxy Heart Rate Monitor Smartwatch all take care of notifications and steps. Not only is tracking the heart rate a great way to monitor their health, that special someone can also mark some top accomplishments including calorie burning and track any other new activities they begin. Even though these may be a tech gift they both have beautiful textured bodies and keep true to a classic time piece. To be honest I might be putting the FitBit Versa on the list for myself this year!
3. For the Love of Music
Nothing beats the sound of vinyl somedays and the person who is all about collecting will really appreciate the Victrola turntable! They will be able to play most vinyl records and with built-in Bluetooth streaming from a device is also super easy. Some of the best things about this gift is being able to hook up to external speakers. However, despite that, this is a turntable aimed at those who enjoy kicking back and listening to vinyls and not any aspiring dj’s. They would require a more specific type of turntable, which is available from this dj equipment retailer. But this is a vinyl collectors dream. With the portability of this turntable, this gift is sure to bring smiles and sweet beats to the lucky receiver of this gift.
4. Ear Candy
Last-minute stocking stuffers? The Urbanista ErgonoMic has a sleek design that provides great sound while still allowing external noise to keep those who wear it alert of their surroundings. This is perfect for the daily commuter in your life that really wants to focus on e-books, their new playlist or even just a phone call. I suggest snagging these up on your last-minute shopping trip for a few people you know who like to travel and multitask.
5. Happy Feet
Caring about someone’s foundation is extremely heartfelt and the iComfort Foot Warmer does just the trick. Especially with the cold winter we’ve had so far, this 9-function stylish tool can soothe the aches and pains of the most amazing person you know. Think about the person who stands all day for work or has a hard time with moving around. You know you could always get this for your significant other who is always cold feet too!
