I am lucky enough to have friends & family around the world. But having my loved ones so far means that I can’t be there to give them all their holiday gifts in person.That’s where this year’s #MessageInAParcel special deliver from UPS Canada comes in. Not only did I get the opportunity to send my gifts confidently around the world with UPS, but I was also able to add a 10 second audio message to add that personal touch to my parcel. I couldn’t be more excited and this year I am sending Holiday cheer as close as Ottawa, to as far as London & Los Angeles in these special edition boxes.

Travel & Lifestyle | The most important gift you can give for the holidays

The holidays are my favourite time of year. From family visits to buying the perfect gift, it is the opportunity to show the ones you love how much you care. I recently had the pleasure of visiting SickKids alongside Gracie Carroll and friends to tour the hospital and learn about the #GetBetterGifts holiday gifts. The fact remains that approximately 300 young patients will have to stay at the hospital over the holidays. Now that the cold weather has arrived, and I can put away the summer clothes for another year, I am officially in holiday mode. This week I’ll be pulling out the decorations and getting the condo feeling festive for Julio, Canela & I. That also means that it’s time to start thinking about holiday shopping. Events | Join us in celebrating the holidays at The 2016 Toronto Art Crawl

Christmas markets are one of those things that help me get into the holiday spirit. Growing up in Ottawa, I used to look forward to the local German Bazaar  with my mom and grandmother. It became a tradition and one that helped me celebrate the holidays in a special way. Now that I have started my own family with my husband here in Toronto, I have created traditions of our own that I look forward to every year.
