Travel & Lifestyle | PayPal Canada is helping to make the holidays happier

Now that the cold weather has arrived, and I can put away the summer clothes for another year, I am officially in holiday mode. This week I’ll be pulling out the decorations and getting the condo feeling festive for Julio, Canela & I. That also means that it’s time to start thinking about holiday shopping. It should come as no surprise that I love using PayPal Canada on a regular basis for purchases ranging from The Chic Canuck must haves to movie tickets on date night. Travel & Lifestyle | When worlds collide – Hudson’s Bay x Barbie

There are a few things that I consider to be quintessentially Canadian. In many way, Canada was historically founded by the Hudson’s Bay and since that time, it has helped to shape and mold our country into the great white north. Recently, Hudson’s Bay announced that they will be releasing a limited edition Barbie adorned in the iconic Hudson’s Bay stripes. I could not be more excited about getting my hands on one! I believe that Barbie has the power to help shape the children of Canada with their ideals and toys. Their recent campaigns are aimed at empowering young girls and boys to be whatever they want to be – so why not embrace all it means to be Canadian along with us by getting yours before they sell out!  Continue reading “Travel & Lifestyle | When worlds collide – Hudson’s Bay x Barbie”

Events | Our top 5 gifts from Hudson’s Bay that Dad really wants for #FathersDay

Let’s be honest, Dads across the country sometimes get the short end of the stick when it comes to Father’s Day. Mother’s Day is one of those occasions that we go all out and spoil mom, but what about Dad?! Something as sweet and sentimental as this custom photo lighter, with the opportunity to engrave any picture or sentiment on it, is enough for father’s around the world to be appreciative. I know that in our home as we start to plan for a family, Father’s Day will be twice as big because our little ones will have two to celebrate. I’m already looking forward to any homemade and personalized gifts they decide to give me. Last year they gifted me a Custom Camera Roll Keychain with their photos on it but went for a homemade keychain instead. I loved it, so I’m excited to see what we’ll get this year. My children aren’t the only ones thinking about Father’s Day. I have to think about what I’m going to get my dad and my brother. My Dad has been such a huge part of my life and is the reason I am the man I have become AND my brother is celebrating his first #FathersDay. So when I sat down to look for the Dad’s in my life, it only made sense to visit Hudson’s Bay. We’ve gathered together our Top 5 gifts for Dad that he will really want this #FathersDay! Travel & Lifestyle | All the reasons we love TWENTYSIX by Natasha Koifman and Aromachology for Artists for Peace and Justice

There are several people in the world who inspire me in ways that are hard to explain. One of those people is Natasha Koifman and the empire she has built at NKPR. Not only is she the figurehead of one of our favourite PR firms in the country, she is also an incredible philanthropist. Her latest project that has officially launched today is TWENTYSIX by Natasha Koifman and Aromachology for Artists for Peace and Justice. This perfume is something that I genuinely love, but it is also officially making a difference in the world.
