What makes you proud?

2017 marked a lot of firsts for us at DoTheDaniel – our first year as an incorporated business, our first ever Pride Parade where we were asked to be on a float, our first time sharing content in three languages, just to name a few! There is so much to be proud of, and that got me thinking. What is it about my life that makes me proud? I think it’s the ability to work with brands and experiences around the world that showcase diversity, power and persistance to change the world. You’ll remember that we had the pleasure of visiting W Montréal last year (click here to see more), and since then I have watched as they help to showcase truly Canadian ideals such as this. I feel like I just got back from Detroit, and now it’s time to leave on another amazing trip. This time, Julio & I are headed to Montreal for an amazing few days with W Montréal, and we couldn’t be more excited! Over the next few days we will be exploring the city of my birth, enjoying delicious meals, and even head to Igloofest. Travel & Lifestyle | Reliving one of our favourite events – Ford Canada’s #FordTryMore

As the fall settles in and we prepare ourselves for the final few months of 2015 at DoTheDaniel.com, I am left remembering some of my favourite moments from the year. We’ve had the opportunity to travel the world and share with you some of the best events Canada has to offer. Of all the events we’ve attended, The Ford Canada #FordTryMore weekend in Montreal was one of the best. Family Lifestyle | Montreal

This is Lyric’s first “summer break”, and also the first time I realized just how much he TALKS, and how LONG a day can be! haha! So, we decided that maybe a change of scenery and a change of pace was just what we needed. I didn’t want to waste an entire day driving somewhere so we decided on a fun little weekend away to Montreal. With only being about 2 hours away, it was the perfect destination for us.
