I like to believe that I am a good looking man and that I present myself with confidence and kindness to the world. That being said, just like the lovely ladies in my life, being my best does take a little bit of work behind the scenes. There has always been something incredibly romantic about the act of shaving in my mind. From the moment when my dad used to let me watch him use his plug in Philips shaver, to when he taught me to use shaving cream and a manual razor. There is a sense of pride that can be found when a man takes the time to make himself look polished for himself and the world. Travel & Lifestyle | Spring into Sears with Lynn Spence

While it may not seem like it at the moment, Spring is on it’s way!  And with that, comes time for a brand new wardrobe.  Throw away those puffy jackets and parkas!  Toss out those wooly scarves!  Ditch the clunky winter boots!  Okay, so don’t literally throw them away… maybe put them away in storage?  You get the point.  It’s time for a serious change in fashion.

Holiday Moments | Continuing my holiday tradition with Sears

The holidays are always full of joy & excitement, but also are a very nostalgic time for me. I usually end up deep in thought sipping hot cocoa and remembering Christmas’ past while celebrating with those I love. One tradition that always makes me smile is the Sears Christmas Catalog arriving in the mail.

Ever so coyly, my brother and I would ear tag pages of toys and things we wanted from Santa. As I grew older, I began to order gifts for those in my life from the catalog with my own money. It was a very proud moment when the gifts would arrive and I got to wrap them before placing them under the tree.
