Here’s how I planned the perfect day for the whole family

Over the last decade-ish since living in Toronto, and subsequently Ottawa again, my immediate family has planned a yearly trip to Mont-Tremblant. Almost always in July or August, I was able to attend once or twice at most because I was booked or otherwise busy. This time centered around my brother Alex’s birthday mid August, this year we all started to talk about it VERY early and I committed to not booking anything for those few days so that I could attend the whole thing.

Spending time with niece, nephew, brother, sister-in-law, and #MamaSue has been a necessity in my life this year, and something I really have come to appreciate in an entirely new way. In a fabulous twist, we decided to switch up the destination (see you next year Mont-Tremblant. PS, call me and let’s collab) – and I wanted to share how I planned the PERFECT day for the whole family.

The May long weekend has always been one that I find myself spending outside as much as possible. So from the gardening I plan on doing, to visiting the park for their long weekend fireworks spectacular, I wanted to share some of my long weekend #vibes to inspire your own!

Continuing A Family Tradition

The month of April is underway and with it (albeit slowly) the warmer weather is coming. In just a few short weeks the doors at Canada’s Wonderland will open and the 2019 season will kick off with some exciting new rides and opportunities to make memories with my family. As I have explained, one of my favourite memories growing up was going to RBC Royal Bank Day at the park – the day before the park opens to the public. For my entire childhood, this was our version of a theme park trip because it was one we could afford. It’s why I am so excited that we are official #WonderCrew members and will be sharing more about the park in 2019.
