Now that I’ve been to Canada’s Wonderland for Media Day (click here to watch the highlights on our Instagram account), I’m already trying to sort out exactly how many visits I can get in this season with my Gold Season Pass to the park. The May long weekend has always been one that I find myself spending outside as much as possible. So from the gardening I plan on doing, to visiting the park for their long weekend fireworks spectacular, I wanted to share some of my long weekend #vibes to inspire your own!
“With a Gold Pass, you receive unlimited visits to Canada’s Wonderland and Splash Works all season long in 2019. Best of all, your Gold Pass includes free admission to Halloween Haunt and the all-new WinterFest.” – I am already picturing all days spent laughing with Julio I’ll be enjoying, or planning a day with our friends to capture those epic roller-coaster photos. And of course this weekend will have an explosive fireworks show Sunday night to celebrate the park turning 38 years old on Monday May 20th. So much to be excited about!
As mentioned, Canada’s Wonderland is celebrating its 38th birthday on Victoria Day, which also marks the last chance to buy your Season Pass before the price goes up.
The fireworks show starts at 10 p.m. on Sunday evening and features more than 6,000 colourful pyrotechnic displays at heights reaching over 800 feet (244 metres). More than 375 hours go into designing and mounting the custom show, which is accompanied by an original soundtrack. From family memories to a romantic night with that special someone, it’s bound to be absolutely magical and I can’t wait to be there.
Guests visiting the park on Monday, May 20 will enjoy special offers on select foods and games and join the Peanuts in a birthday dance party at front gate plaza throughout the day. It is also the Season Pass sale deadline, with passes currently available for as low as $74.99 online. Prices go up May 20. And we all know how much Julio loves Peanuts!
Now, let’s get you excited about fireworks, #YukonStriker and getting your own coaster photos like mine from over the years. I hope you’re just as excited to visit Canada’s Wonderland this weekend, get your season passes before prices go up, and make this weekend memorable like we are!
