You’ll remember that in early November, I told you about my favourite holiday memories and how they might surprise you. Shortly afterwards, I was lucky enough to be able to attend one of our favourite holiday events. Thanks to our friends at Nintendo Canada, we joined in on the #NintendoHoliday excitement here in Toronto and got to try all the highly anticipated new games. Turns out, I still love Pokémon and Mario Kart as much as I did years ago, and so now that my new Nintendo Switch is on the way, I wanted to share a bit more about what the holidays mean to me and why I love that I’m still a kid at heart at thirty-five.
I have to be really honest with you in that I think the Nintendo Switch is my favourite Nintendo device to date. While there is a certain nostalgia with the Nintendo 64 console and my teenage years, it still fascinates me that I can take the switch with me on my commute to work and then take it home to play on my home television. There are some games that you don’t typically find on the Switch like casino-themed games but that’s ok because I can find those on sites like Casino-bonus.me.uk to enjoy instead – you may want to check them out too if you’re into that kind of thing.
Have you seen the most recent holiday commercials that Nintendo has put out? They made me laugh a lot because I know that this will be me as a parent when I have children and the latest Nintendo Device is being wrapped for them under the tree. Take a look below:
Makes me wonder if Mom and Dad had those moments with my original gameboy when I was younger. I’ll have to ask Mom over the holidays this year while I spend time with the family.
So, let’s talk about the highly anticipated Pokemon Let’s Go game for Nintendo Switch for a minute. I have never been more immersed at an event as I was when I was HANDED AN ACTUAL POKEBALL. The game itself is the latest iteration of the Pokemon series of games for Nintendo with the launch of Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!
And of course, let’s pay homage to the moment when Catherine beat me at Mario Kart 8 and I reacted very calmly as you’ll see below…. ?
From Smash Bros. Ultimate to smiles and laughs, I cannot wait to just be at home sipping a cocktail with friends and those I love playing Nintendo. Because why I love the adventure and fast pace we live and share with you all, it’s nice to have some down time too. I encourage you to check out the full range of games, consoles, and all things #NintendoHoliday for yourself to do the same. Whether it’s for the kids in your life or an epic battle royale with friends on a cozy night in, Nintendo Canada has got all the gifts you need to make those holiday moments memorable.
