Canada’s Wonderland is Back, and so is The #WonderCrew!

With the excitement of the summer, of the freedom that vaccinations are bringing, and just a general sense of overwhelming relief comes signs that life’s beautiful moments are coming back as well. From being able to see my niece and nephew outside for family BBQs months after moving to Ottawa, to resuming one of my absolute favourite parts of the warmer weather in Ontario – yes, you guessed it. Canada’s Wonderland is safely re-opening and with that comes another year of Julio & I joining the #WonderCrew. So get ready for many more rollercoaster photos, BTS moments, food and so much laughter in the sun.

So… why am I so excited? Because last year was the first year in almost a decade that I couldn’t be in the park, riding rollercoasters and getting more game prizes, eating delicious food…. It was really hard. I didn’t realize how much I missed Canada’s Wonderland until I wasn’t allowed to visit. Well thankfully all of that is over!

Now that Canada’s Wonderland has announced it’s re-opening next week, I’m here to share why I can’t way for the return to safe, outdoor fun! Click here to learn about the safe re-opening procedures in place to help us all enjoy the park safely together.

Did I mention that there are TWO new attractions that have been added to the park as well? Mountain Bay Cliffs offers exhilaration of cliff jumping from a variety of heights into the water below. Having done this in many destinations around the world, now I can enjoy that rush in Toronto all summer long with Julio.

For those of you visiting with the family, Beagle Brigade Airfield offers a high-flying adventure with Snoopy! Beagle Brigade Airfield zooms along an oval course swinging through sharply banked turns, bringing smiles to children and parents alike. Hopefully Tio Julio and Tio Dan get to take Rebecca to the park soon because I have a feeling she’s going to LOVE it!

And in case that wasn’t enough to get you excited, the park is celebrating it’s 40th anniversary with special food & merchandise for fans of all ages.

As always, I recommend a season’s pass to really take advantage of the most the park can offer. And if your friends and family eat as much as Julio, don’t forget to add on a meal pass and fast pass option. With the re-opening happening right around the corner I encourage you to get yours and get excited about special memories we are all going to make again this year and for many years to come!

“The best way to enjoy Canada’s Wonderland is with a Season Pass! Enjoy exclusive perks with your Season Pass or Gold Pass including season-long access to the park and its amazing rides, shows, and entertainment. As well, you get discounts on Bring-A-Friend tickets, food, merchandise, and much more! Best of all, your Gold Pass includes Halloween Haunt and WinterFest!” – click here.

Of course don’t forget to follow along with Julio and I this summer as we share our favourite moments. And if I can make a recommendation for those of you coming back and eager for special moments, don’t forget to visit the park at night for a visual experience that is truly magical and will leave you smiling!
