One of the things I love most about Toronto is it’s food culture. Be it some of the various restaurants I have featured on Daniel’s Dish, or the amount of world-class chefs that have decided to call this city home.. food is an integral part of the city. But it doesn’t just stop at a delicious meal anymore. Ideals such as those of FoodShare are quickly becoming the norm and an important part of corporate responsibility to give back. Come & see why you won’t want to miss this year’s annual Recipe for Change which takes place February 26th, 2015 from 6-9pm at the iconic St. Lawrence North Market.
“On February 26, FoodShare Toronto is hosting Recipe for Change 2015, a celebration of food with a purpose that supports FoodShare’s groundbreaking work in schools. Event goers will be able to mingle with 30 Chefs reflecting Toronto’s diverse food scene, taste beverages from 4 Wineries and 2 Craft Brewers, and support FoodShare’s important work to create a healthy future.”
So why would you want to be there? “With 30 chefs reflecting Toronto’s diverse food scene, 2 craft brewers, and 4 wineries, this will be the most deliciously fun night of the year!” For a full list of chefs participating this year, make sure to click here. Profits from the ticket sales for the evening will go directly back to FoodShare and their amazing programs designed to work with youth and schools. An evening of culinary delights that helps to make a difference? Sounds like a perfect event to me!
