There comes a time in everyone’s life that you need something nice to wear. Whether it’s simply for church on Sunday, a Mother’s Day brunch, a playdate where you want to impress, or celebrating a half-birthday. This is where, Aisabobo, Canada’s new luxury clothing brand for boys and girls aged 3 to 7 comes in.
Aisabobo understands what parents want: something both Instagram-able and machine washable. Clothes that will keep looking good long after they’ve been outgrown. Co-founded by Jinka and Sharon Kagami, they wanted to give their children the best. “We believe that style is important for kids as much as adults,” says Sharon. “It is our mission to bridge the gaps between design and quality, and between quality and price.”

I loved the way the clothes fit Lyric, with the little things like the contrasting-collar polo shirts and gingham-lined khaki shorts; it was fun to style! You could tell from the first touch that these weren’t your average clothes. I can also attest to how they hold up, they’ve been washed a few times and come out just as pristine as they were day 1.

Aisabobo sources its fabrics from around the world, and is designed by a Toronto-based team led by Sarah Hopgood. With the unmistakable details of luxury, they’ve also made sure it’s ready for the everyday. Soft linings and tags, adjustable waistbands, and interior plackets to protect sensitive skin from zippers are just a few of the things that show what impeccable craftsmanship Aisabobo demonstates.
This being their first spring/summer collection, Aisabobo wanted to re-imagine the garden party. A palette of pastels and prints, inspired by lush blossoms and al fresco afternoon tea, take centre stage this season. Timeless colour choices and elegant styles for both boys and girls will allow you to keep pieces from child to child without going off trend.
I can’t wait to see what Aisabobo will be coming out with for next season. Be sure to check out their entire collection, available online with international shipping as well as their new rewards program!
