Toronto | Hudson Kitchen shows Toronto what a patio should be

From coast to coast in Canada, the summer has arrived finally and patio season is officially in full swing. It makes a lot of people want to refurbish their outdoor spaces in their gardens and redo their patios. Perhaps the most popular these days is flagstone patios and paths, which many people find from companies like westminsterstone.com. Then there is the element of added some new furniture as well. Just completely transforming it to ensure you can enjoy the best of the summer months. When I think of eating in the summer, there is no image that comes to mind faster then that of sitting on a patio (check out teak garden furniture uk for some seating inspiration) enjoying the sunshine with friends and the ones I love. And I’ll be honest, please don’t take offence other cities in Canada, Toronto has some of the best patios I have ever enjoyed. I love patios so much, I only wish I had one in my own home. I dream of having a really cool space with luxurious Sliding Patio Doors too! But what it is that makes a truly perfect restaurant patio? Location, size and decor are key when you’re in search for an outdoor experience. Too big and you feel overwhelmed and lost in the crowd. Too small and it can feel a little awkward or unaccommodating for a group looking to dine together. It’s almost like Goldilocks… it has to be just right. Thankfully for the city of Toronto, Hudson Kitchen is showing the rest of the city what a patio should be. Let me tell you why! Lifestyle | Samsung Canada & The Samsung Chef Collection are reinventing the home

For most of you it has become quite apparent that when it comes to technological devices, Julio & I can usually be counted on to be in the know about Samsung Canada‘s latest and greatest. From head to toe and extensions thereof, we always like to associate ourselves with the best on the market and tell you all about it so you can do the same. But does the Samsung Canada Lifestyle have to stop with cellphones and cameras? Absolutely not. At the end of the day, life is a lot more than just events and tweets, Instagram and blogs. We all come home to our respective living arrangements and need to do what people do. We need to eat. We need to sleep. And we need to live.

It’s one of the reasons why I love writing about Lifestyle topics so much. I have the opportunity to tell you about topics and brands that can help to make your Lifestyle more convenient and more creative. Well ladies & gentlemen, let me be one of the first to tell you about the #SamsungChefCollection (follow the hashtag online for some behind the scenes amazing coverage) line of products that are about to reinvent your personal Lifestyle in the home. Food & Wine | Wine lovers rejoice with My Wine Canada!

With Catherine actively working for all things Health& Nutrition, and Amanda plugging away with Family Lifestyle and Photography, it looks like I am back to writing about Food, Wine & Lifestyle topics. Not that I’m complaining by any means… It’s nice to have a fully functioning DoTheDaniel.com family on board tackling every Lifestyle topic you could imagine. But all that to say, I still don’t have an exorbitant amount of free time.

Judging from the number of wine-related posts that are on this blog, I think it’s clear that we’re wine lovers here. We love exploring new wines and it makes gift giving so easy! Vitamin vino has a large selection of wine gifts so you can just look on there and pick out a quirky gift! As a wine lover who loves exploring new wines, this lack of free time to go hunting online for the latest and greatest is sometimes counter-productive. If you’re like me, you want to be able to find the new wines, the hot wines everyone is talking about, or the wines that are simply not offered at the LCBO or your local liquor store. Well, Ladies & Gentlemen, let me tell you how My Wine Canada just made wine loving a whole lot easier. Continue reading “Food & Wine | Wine lovers rejoice with My Wine Canada!”
