It’s that time of year again – the holiday bargain hunting has begun and as I prepare myself for the excitement of shopping for the ones I love, I am also being mindful of the fact that I am on a budget. In the past, I was never a believer in Black Friday. It didn’t appeal to me and for the most part the only time I realized it was happening was when I would watch the news after getting home from work. You could say that I’ve grown wiser in my old age (I’m thirty five going on sixty it feels some days!) and now know that this incredible day is an opportunity to shop for the ones I love and myself while saving an amazing amount of money. It will also be how I kick start my holiday cheer and plan to put up my Christmas tree this weekend after shopping till I drop. So where will you find me this year you ask? The only place to be for holiday shopping of course with 350 stores ready to put me in the spirit!
While I work through another busy week at the office in Toronto, the days seem to be getting shorter. I find myself longing for the feeling the holidays bring to me. That smile that comes across my face when I see children taking photos with Santa. The hugs of friends catching up and sitting down to sip coffee. The hustle and bustle of it all the meaning behind doing things for one another, even if only at this time of year. Black Friday is of course a slightly more chaotic version of that, but bargain hunters should probably be joining me at Bramalea City Centre considering the incredible stores that are going to be adding to the festivities. Not only will the sales be mind blowing, there is a chance for you to win a GC just for stopping by to join in on the fun!
But of course, Bramalea City Centre isn’t just a destination this Friday. It’s also where I’ll be doing the majority of my holiday shopping this season because of it’s incredible 350 stores that are ready to offer me the best #GiftIdeas. From enjoying meals while I shop till I drop with friends over the coming weeks, I know that I’m excited for the extended holiday hours that start December 3rd, the fact that Bramalea City Centre is partnering with William Osler Health System Foundation where they’ll be donating proceeds of all Santa photos to the Brampton Civic Hospital where Santa will be making a special visit on December 12, the Instagrammable moments, and so much more… there’s no wonder why this is my destination of choice this holiday season!
