A Sneak Peek At The #Cashmere18 Designs

It’s time to start talking about September – and while I am enjoying the beautiful summer weather, I have always loved the fall. It’s my favourite season for fashion, it’s when I love cuddling up to my husband and Canela the most, and it also is when the annual Cashmere Collection fashion event. Every year we are lucky enough to bring you BTS at one of my favourite events of the year. Gathering together some of the most talented and innovative fashion designers in the country, this year will be marking fifteen years and to celebrate we wanted to share some sneak peeks of the designs that will come to life on the runway in a few weeks time.

On September 25th I will once again attend of the most incredible fashion events of the year in Toronto. The innovation, skill, vision and future of fashion is what pulls me to attend and support the Cashmere Collection fashion show. As mentioned, celebrating 15 years of design, innovation & raising awareness (and funds) to fight breast cancer in Canada, this year’s theme has been revealed and it’s The Crystal Ball. How apropos considering how important I have been reminded of with my love of crystals in my personal life.

Symbolizing the traditional 15-year anniversary gift, and the eternal love and unwavering commitment crystal represents. “Produced by Kruger Products, maker of Cashmere Bathroom Tissue, #Cashmere18 will feature 15 leading-edge Canadian designers who are now hard at work creating one-of-a-kind Tissue CoutureTM, embellished with thousands of crystals generously provided by Toronto-based jeweller, Kimberfire.”

I didn’t want you to get too much detail about each designer, but I can say that with some research, I am beyond impressed. It’s no shock that Canada produces some of the most talented designers and creators in the Fashion world. It is, to this day, one of my favourite things to listen to Julio speak about. But I wanted the sketches, and the talent above, to speak for themselves. I encourage you to support each and every one of these talented participants as they prepare for the big day in September.
