C’Mon Barbie, Let’s Go Party!

It is no shock that this blog is essentially a Barbie fangirl page – over the years I’ve spoken about how as a little boy my Jem and The Holograms Barbie was my favourite toy, and let’s be honest, Barbie to this day at the toy and brand that speaks to so many of us in different ways. From our collection of Barbies and the dolls from the extended family, this blog and our home will forever preach the importance of inclusivity and diversity that we’ve seen over the years with my favourite blonde bombshell.

The Summer of The Century Kicks Off Now!

With July 1st celebrations about to start taking place, one of the brands I have loved most for as long as I can remember is about to kick off the summer of the century celebrations in the best way possible! Over 50 homes in Toronto will decorated with hundreds of floaties from unicorns to flamingos to dinosaurs; pinwheels and garden gnomes and more – and you’re invited to join in on the excitement with them!

Toronto is About To Get a Massive Off Leash Dog Area

Having just got back from an epic Pride weekend in Toronto, I am still spinning from excitement of in person events and all that fabulous energy. Ottawa is where we lay our heads each night but Toronto will always be special for Julio and I. While I love a good conversation, parade and event, I have to admit that in many situations if there’s a dog I probably want to meet it before I do someone new. Guess that’s why I am so excited to share this BIG dog news with those of you living in or planning to visit Toronto this summer!

5 Ways to Celebrate Pride in Toronto

As Julio packs his half of the luggage upstairs before we leave for Toronto this weekend for Pride celebrations in partnership with Destination Toronto, I am sitting at our dinning room table looking at my nails and some videos we’ve been teasing of our drag alter egos Anna & Esmeralda here and here. TBH I’m smiling because it feels like I am coming to understand a certain part of myself as a gay man that I never knew properly. I guess the timing couldn’t be any better since this weekend is a jam packed weekend of events, professional drag performances, the Pride Toronto parade and so much more.
