Amid the changing leaves and cooler nights comes some of the best time of the year in my opinion.

Pumpkins will soon adorn most of our doors, and I’ll start to make more soups and meals to warm the soul. Of course with the most picturesque of seasons comes some pretty spectacular happenings in the city of Toronto. Local businesses and meal experiences are waiting for you to discover them and what they have to offer, and I thought I would share one of my personal favourites with you to help inspire you to get out and celebrate the season.

Things To Be Thankful For

When it comes to (Canadian) Thanksgiving and the fall season, I am often reminded that it’s time to focus on the things I do have and not that which I don’t. I have my health. I have an amazing job. I have a blog and online presence that I love creating content for. I have a loving spouse. I have my health. I have family that loves me. And I’ve got lots of reasons to smile this season. In hopes of spreading some love and positivity into the world I thought I’d share some thing to be thankful for.

It’s Time To Start Thinking About Warm Coats Again

While most of us are finally getting settled into the idea of sweater weather, any good Canadian knows that the colder weather is going to get much colder in no time at all. While I sit at the new dinning room table in our home in Ottawa, I am mulling over the photos from a recent event I wasn’t able to join Julio for in Toronto. I don’t often go so far as to bring fashion previews to you all here on the blog, but I was so in love with what I saw that I realized this may be the time to start thinking about to really make a statement with your wardrobe this season. The BFF Getaway You Didn’t Realize You Needed

As I sit down to write this blog post, I have to admit that I not am not okay with how little Catherine and I see each other these day. The pandemic and physical distancing recommendations haven’t helped in that, but with us living so far away from one another, gone are the days of seeing my best friend every day. I guess for many of us, that’s kind of just “life” these days and as we get older. So when I do get to see her, I want to ensure that it’s the most amazing time I can make it. Which is why I was so excited to plan a quick little getaway to Niagara Falls for some food, some wine, and lots of laughter together.
