It’s official and the 2015 Pan Am Games have begun in the city of Toronto. Julio & I actually had the chance to attend the opening ceremonies and watched it all begin. Such an incredible experience and one I will always remember! Alongside the festivities and athletic achievements that will be taking place over the next few weeks, we recently told you about The Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation and their official role as the host First Nations of the games. With the #YouAreWelcome Food Truck, there are so many delicious reasons to find the truck around the city!

Last week I had the chance to visit the Food Truck on one of its first stops. Delicious food and free MasterCard gift cards are just a few of the reasons to use social media (@YouAreWelcomeTO on Instagram and Twitter) to find the latest location.
The Food Truck is meant to celebrate The Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation as the official host First Nation in a fun and engaging way. By enjoying some authentic Ojibway cuisine, learning about the history of the land we now call Toronto and having the opportunity to meet some amazing people.. you know that my first stop at the food truck won’t be my last!

I think one of my favourite parts of enjoying these delicious dishes is that you can also find the recipes online. Exploring new types of food is one of the best ways to celebrate the culmination of athletes and cultures from around the world. Food is a universal language that we all can understand!
