Food & Wine | Because life is #BetterWithPizza with Visa Checkout

For those of you who follow us on social media (@DoTheDaniel on both Twitter & Instagram), you’ll have seen my recent amazement with FREE pizza. Yes, you read that correctly. FREE. It’s all thanks to our friends at Visa who have collaborated with Pizza Pizza for their easy to use Visa Checkout system.

Come and see how my life was made #BetterWithPizza, and how conveniently yours can be too!

Newly launched in September, Visa card holders are encouraged to sign up for the Visa Checkout option online to gain access to the ease & convenience of paying with their Visa. Who actually enjoys the hassle of shopping online and having to fill in all that customer information? With Visa Checkout, all your information is securely stored in one convenient way that allows you to purchase conveniently without all the fuss. Full details of the Visa Checkout program can be found here.

“Visa Checkout is the online checkout service that allows everyone to securely store their shipping and payment information without ever having to re-enter the information when shopping online. With Visa Checkout, you simply enter your username and password, and click a button to complete the purchase.”

Ease & convenience? Sign me up!

When you pay with your Visa Checkout on your next Pizza Pizza order over $9.99, you’ll receive a free Pizza code*! But here’s a thought… why wouldn’t you take that free Pizza and pass it along to someone deserving in your life? We all know a friend or family member that needs a “just because” gift.

The simplest of gestures can help to brighten up anyone’s day. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t love pizza?! Combine the two and you’ve got a match made in heaven.

So, when I ordered a delicious pizza with Julio the other night (see above) I thought to myself who would be most deserving of a simple gesture that could make their day?

Immediately I thought of my brother & his wife who just gave birth to their first child. Being a new parent is tough enough and I thought a pizza would be a great way to let them put up their feet for those few minutes they’ll have while getting settled at home! Between diaper changes, feedings and the little sleep they are now getting I’m sure they meant to take a photo for me.

But alas, they did enjoy a delicious Pizza Pizza pizza of their own while basking in their newly adorned lives of parenthood. Thanks for that special moment is owed entirely to Visa Checkout and the ease of paying with my Visa now!

In lieu of a photo where they probably would be stuffing their face with their pizza of choice, I’ll just show you the happy new family. I’m so glad they enjoyed a simple gesture thanks to Visa.

All in all, I loved the convenience of using Visa Checkout. And the added bonus of a free Pizza is always nice! Why not use your free pizza code you receive on your next purchase with Visa Checkout at Pizza Pizza to make somebody you love smile?

I can guarantee you it’s an amazing feeling and one they will remember for a long time.
