For those of you living in Toronto, you’ve by now seen that the FIRST EVER Nutella Café has opened up at Sobey’s Urban Fresh Spadina. I got so excited about this new permanent feature to one of our favourite Sobey’s locations that I even attended a 7:30am launch of the space with media friends. That says a lot since I am the opposite of a morning person!
Located at 22 Fort York Boulevard, this new hotspot is already drawing huge crowds of condo dwelling Torontonians and those of us who don’t live in the neighbourhood. The fact remains that Canadians LOVE Nutella, so it was only a matter of time that an establishment this amazing would be created. Sobey’s and Nutella have combined two of our favourite things into one incredible experience you simply have to see for yourself.
With fresh made pastries including “bombe, aragosta, zeppole, pizelle and allbutter croissants and danishes. Fresh made-to-order crêpes with Nutella® and premium hot beverages are also available to complete the Nutella® Café experience.”
If I had to chose just one (but let’s be honest. I didn’t chose only one) to try that best embodies the café experience, I would tell you to try the bombe. Remember that this is Toronto’s newest hot spot doors open bright and early so expect to see a lot of familiar faces waiting for these sumptuous treats!
Don’t forget that asides from your daily Nutella fix, Sobey’s is a great spot to get fresh produce, ready-to-eat cut fruit, vegetables and salads, and a wide variety of organic and local produce. And for those of us in a hurry, Sobeys’ Kitchen featuring chef-inspired self-serve salad and hot entrée bars, stone oven-baked pizza al taglio and freshly made sushi and noodle dishes. Spadina Sobeys Urban Fresh, located at 22 Fort York Blvd. in Toronto, Ontario, is open from 7 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week. The Nutella® Café is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
