As I sit down at the office, thinking about travel and upcoming trips we have been planning for weeks, I can’t help but remember taking Julio to Paris for our anniversary last December. Though it was a personal trip meant just for us, it should come as no surprise that we shared the majority of our experience in the city of light with you all. Being that Julio had never been to Europe, I loved watching his reaction to seeing some of the most iconic sights in the world for the first time. Just like with any trip, there is so much to consider. It was a little stressful, but once we got the basics sorted like our passports, packing the suitcases and located gatwick hotel and parking deals (as we were driving down to the airport), it became a lot more manageable. This was an amazing trip and can’t wait to do it again one day.
So I thought I would share the five spots in Paris you simply have to share on your Instagram.
Having a phone that allows me to share beautiful photos without lugging around a camera is important to me. For those of you who have been to Paris, you’ll know it can be hectic and fast-paced. If it is your first time, having a Huawei Mobile device is a great way to capture and share beautiful memories. Some of my favourite photos of Julio came from that trip, and they were taken on my Huawei Mobile P10. Looking back on the moments below that we shared, it is getting me even more excited to share some exciting news from Paris with you all next week! And of course, having Roam Like Home as a part of my data plan is the perfect way to share them all with you in real time. Before I #RoamOn next week with you all along for the ride, let’s talk about the 5 Instagramable places in Paris you need to see for yourself! If you don’t already have followers on your Instagram, you might want to get more followers by visiting growthoid.com (visit website here). By doing that, you should be able to share these pictures with more people.
A tip for the perfect spot to caputre The Eiffel Tower would be to go to Le Bailli De Suffren, Paris, France for lunch (delicious) and the street beside the restaurant is usually pretty empty. The angle I captured Julio below in the HDR setting on my P10 Plus shows you what I mean. Sometimes a different angle of an iconic monument can be the best photo of all!
If I had to pick one space of the five that will help you share that FOMO worthy photo while you explore Paris, this would be it. It was made for Instagram – fashion & food fans alike should explore the exhibits, restaurant and grounds.
Maison Ladurée
If one pastry comes to mind when I think of Paris, it would be macarons. Ladurée recently expanded their delicious brand into Canada, but there is something so incredible romantic about picking up a beautiful box and exploring with the one you love. WARNING: they will not last the day. So maybe grab another on the way back home at the airport!
I’ll be honest, the Mona Lisa is amazing to see in person, but there is SO much more to The Louvre than her. From that glass pyramide, to the works of art that have defined Paris over the centuries, this is that one place asides from the Eiffel Tower that you’ve got to see for yourself.
With the updates to Parisian transit over the last decade, it’s easier than ever to get to the town of Versailles from Paris. And it’s totally worth the trip – I think this may have been Julio’s favourite place. Can you guess why?
From food to fashion, landmarks and so much more, Paris is one of the most beautiful cities. Especially if you’ve never been, I encourage you to roam the streets with a Huawei Mobile device and start sharing. Make sure to follow along with me starting Monday morning as I head back to Paris for something very exciting in partnership with Huawei Mobile.
