Hosting 101: Knowing What Your Guests Want

The Holidays are here and we are in the thick of menu and meal planning. From food to drink, snacks to music, it’s all about creating a memorable experience for your loved ones over the next few weeks. But the best tip I could offer you as a host is that no two guests are the same. Some of our friends are wine drinkers, while others prefer beer. So this year when planning what to serve, I was inspired by a recent event we attended with Miller High Life Canada

Now I’ll be honest that I’m not normally a beer drinker. But when I got to sit down with Gracie Carroll (a favourite of ours of course) to enjoy a delicious meal paired with the #ChampagneOfBeers, I was pleasantly surprised. Not only does it pair with those decadent holiday meals we are all about to enjoy, but it makes for a great host gift if you are in fact attending a get together and not hosting it yourself.

Available at The Beer Store for just $2.10 per 473ml can (or $12.35 for a 6 pack), Miller High Life is already establishing itself as one of the highest quality & affordable beers in Canada. I think the important thing to remember is that not everyone is going to enjoy the same kind of night. Maybe it’s French Canadian tortiere and Miller High Life with friends before wine and turkey with family. Or maybe you need to just kick up your feet with your special someone after commuting around for the holidays. Whatever the situation, it’s a great time of year to enjoy #MillerHighLife – why not cheers to the holidays with the #ChampagneOfBeers!
