As many of you know, I travel to Toronto often for work and to see close friends that I have made over the last 9+ years that I have been blogging. When I can, I need to rest my head in a beautiful hotel that is conveniently located in the city. Well, if I had to pick there’s not one hotel more convenient or known in the downtown core like Sheraton Centre Toronto. Recently the hotel celebrated its 50th anniversary and the completed of a multi-million, multi-year renovation that you absolutely have to see in person to take in all that beautiful grandiosity.
Now we all know I am no stranger to Sheraton Centre Toronto – you can click here to read about my love of their properties over the years, and most recently via REELS on Instagram here and here. I even was invited to jet set in between properties alongside media friends to learn about #TheNewSheraton. That trip (and REEL which I am VERY proud of if you haven’t seen it yet) ignited a love for the brand I didn’t realized I had. Now I often find myself wanting to come back – and not just that – but see all of their properties.
That could be a fun idea for a new podcast….. But I’m getting off topic.
Let’s get back to the party and those celebrations – you can click here to help yourself get excited with a BEAUTIFUL REEL all about the event.
Truly a golden celebration that won’t soon be forgotten!
To celebrate not only that night, but the milestone for guests yet to arrive, Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel celebrated its official 50th anniversary today with the launch of two special getaway packages. Guests can now celebrate their own milestones with one of two “Golden” packages, one of which includes a penthouse-level party.
For the sake of saying, we’ve never stayed in a penthouse and our rooms have been majestic, so I can only fathom what these would look like!
The hotel’s Golden anniversary comes on the heels of Sheraton completing the largest renovation in its history of being a staple in Toronto’s downtown core since 1972. “We are thrilled to finally be unveiling our transformation. It feels symbolic of Sheraton stepping into the next 50 years, continuing to deliver exceptional service and experiences for our guests,” said Tim Reardon, Sheraton Centre Toronto General Manger. “We invite guests past or present to celebrate their own milestones with us.”
The Sheraton Centre has been party to 50 years’ worth of memories – from guests to employees to the wider Toronto community – and the Golden Moments Package is designed to foster even more. The package includes one Signature Suite, welcome champagne and valet parking. Most notably, it also includes a reception for up to 30 people in Sheraton’s 43rd floor Club Lounge. The penthouse level room offers 360-degree views of the Toronto skyline. For those of you thinking what I’m thinking – NYE or a wedding anniversary (both of which I have coming up ) these luxury packages start at $5050 and can be booked by emailing [email protected].
The Golden Package Gives a Nod to the Bygone Era of Bellhops and Elevator Operators Sheraton is also offering the Golden Package, a more affordable alternative that includes a welcome amenity, valet parking, and two cocktails at the newly opened mixology lounge, 43 Down. 43 Down is inspired by the attentive and individualized service of bellhops and elevator operators of bygone generations in customer service. Drawing inspiration from these eras past, the 43 Down space appreciates a beverage forward concept focusing on mixology as an art. Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel is Canada’s largest property within the Sheraton Hotels & Resorts portfolio. The property recently finished an extensive transformation that was completed in 2022.
Its transformation journey brings a new arrival experience, a reimagined lobby with town-square energy, world-class culinary experiences, open and collaborative workspaces and over 130,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. The downtown hotel is connected to Toronto’s PATH system, a 16-mile underground network of shops and services. With 1,372 guest rooms and suites, a 24-hour fitness centre, 360-degree skyline views from its 43rd-floor Sheraton Club, unique outdoor waterfall and garden area and the city’s largest heated indooroutdoor pool, the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel is an iconic meeting spot in the heart of the city for friends and business travellers alike. With dining venues and a completely reimagined food and beverage program, one of Toronto’s largest hotels is decidedly reinventing the hotel experience with a bold new standard.
With all the memories I have already made (above included) I know that I personally can’t wait to be back in Toronto and at Sheraton Centre Toronto as soon as possible!
