I laugh at the title of this blog post because I am in fact much older than people think I am. At thirty-five, I love that I am (sometimes*) mistaken for being in my late twenties. There is something quite motivating in the compliments I receive about my skin and the confidence that it allows me, especially as someone who spends so much time in front of the camera. Did you know that your skin has 5 vital functions? Can you guess what they are? My initial guesses were: protect from the elements, produce too much forehead (and chin???) oil, freckle, get premenstrual acne and react angrily to eyebrow waxes. Dear Fashion, You’ve Got a New Student
I think it’s safe to say that some of regulars who visit the Do the Daniel blog are probably familiar with me being the “fashion guy” by now. Fashion, for a while now, has been an important part of my life not only as a form of art and self expression, but also as a creative outlet and source of inspiration to other aspects of my life, it allows me to see all the clothing options for men and this excites me. Some days, when I’m down, a good editorial or runway show can completely change my sour mood into a happy day. That’s why I couldn’t be happier and more excited to let you all know that, earlier last month, I got some exciting news that I believe is going to change my career in fashion… forever.

After a recent visit and tour of The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto with Catherine to talk about some exciting things they have in store for tourists and Torontonians alike, I decided I wanted to share what my dream stay at the hotel would look like. Someone make sure to tell Julio for me, okay? Continue reading “What dreams are made of”
