I have to be honest with you in the fact that over the course of the last few years, I’ve lost a lot of the joy I used to take in reading. I was a ferocious reader as a young man and as I got older, I probably found excuses and reasons to not make the time for something that brings me so much joy. Recently I was made aware of an upcoming book from a master of the wine world and it reignited something in me. Maybe because I love to learn and share about wine, maybe I’m coming out of this long winded slump. Well hi friends! It’s been a little while since we last sat down together. With a new job, a changing season, working through personal struggles and accomplishments, life got busy as they say. You know the colder months have officially settled into my brain when every other meal I make at home is soup. It’s something I inherited from my Dad and still reminds me of him (Chicken Soup from scratch being his signature soup) – so today’s Daniel’s Dish is, in no shock, another soup!
