Working towards a goal is something that I have always prided myself in. Be it personally, or professionally, I always try my best to be my very best. When I think about the things in my life I am grateful for, there are of course the obvious things and people. But then there are the things that I sometimes take for granted. I am grateful for beautiful jewelry I wear every day to remind me of special people. I am grateful for these amazing Bonlook glasses that I still get compliments on every day. And of course my smile. My friend who visits Dentist Houston told me that I should get braces, and I finally decided to do it. People are always complimenting my on my teeth – and that one is all thanks to my parents and those teenage years where I had braces. But I can say with certainty that I wish I had had Dr. Jeremy Kurtz in my life instead!

I am a firm believer that we are all meant to embrace our uniqueness in life. That was a really tough lesson for me to learn as I grew up. Unlike my husband, I had a hard time finding my footing socially and struggled with accepting myself. Now, much more confident in myself and who I am, I respect brands that enforce the idea of doing what makes you happy. The Future of Canadian Music

This year marked the 47th year of the Juno Awards, which were hosted in my hometown of Vancouver British Columbia. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Junos, they are more than just an awards show – they’re a week long festival celebrating Canadian music that is hosted in a different city each year.
