I Think it’s Time We Had THE Talk

Over the past (almost) eight years I have had the pleasure of sharing some of the most incredible memories and experiences with you all right here and via social media. I also have never been shy or veered away from uncomfortable and challenging topics. While I have achieved a certain sense of success with the blog, it also has always been a way to stay true to what I love and connecting with each and every one of you. We’ve learned to trust one another and it is for that reason that I decided to share something extremely intimate in hopes of helping those of you going through something similar. It’s time we had THE talk about PrEP and why I made the decision to start taking it.

If there is one thing that makes me happy in this world as a content creator, it is an immaculately executed campaign. If I’m being honest, it’s probably the marketing geek in me that can just sit back and appreciate the power of icons colliding to create something so beautiful. Why I’m Okay With My Fifteen Minutes of Fame Winding Down

It’s been about eight years since the photo above was taken. Since that moment so much has changed for us together as a couple and for us as individuals. It goes without saying that we’ve done a lot of growing up. I’ve worked with some of the biggest brands in the world, I’ve jet set around the world for events and activations, I’ve met and chatted with celebrities local and international, and I’ve even had up to fifteen staff. As I head in to April 2021, my door isn’t knocked on as much as it once was as a creator. But if I’m being perfectly honest, I’m not that upset about that fact and I thought I’d sit down to talk about it.

A Form of Self-Expression

Having not sat down to write a blog post in some time, I find myself feeling relieved at the chance to write and get back to something that feeds my soul in ways nothing else can.

Life got really busy this year, in a lot of different ways. Had you asked me a year ago where I thought I would be in life, it certainly wouldn’t be here. Not that this place in life – both physically and mentally – is bad, but it’s just not what I expected. I guess that is sort of a beautiful thought if you think about it. You’re never quite sure where life is going to take you, but as long as you continue to follow your heart and express what you want and deserve, it’s never going to be dull. Maybe that sentiment is what inspired this recent blog post. Let’s see if you agree.
