Food & Wine | “Nice knife skills, Chef”

That’s my Dad. I am currently (and dangerously) cutting an apple into quarters: apple-half standing up instead of lying flat on the cutting board, fingers sprawled out instead of curved under.

He’s right; of course, my knife skills are horrendous. You can’t cut anything properly while asking it to defy gravity like that. I am tempting fate to cut off a digit or two.

Did I mention that I’m ten? Continue reading “Food & Wine | “Nice knife skills, Chef””

Food & Wine | My Top 5 Healthy Meals with Ritual

Let’s face it. Eating healthy with a busy schedule is never an easy task, especially when living in Toronto. I know that a lot of my friends need to use Blue Apron in order to have their ingredients for quick and easy meals ready for them as soon as they get home. My Food Subscriptions has gone into more depth about them on their blog because I don’t think it would be the best service for me (I’m not a very good cook!). While balancing life at the office, at home, deadlines, emails, social media… life is busy. Without Blue Apron it can be a bit difficult which is why I was so excited to show you all that eating healthy on the go is possible thanks to Ritual. Check out my top 5 Healthy Meals around the city that I purchased using the app during my busy week! Continue reading “Food & Wine | My Top 5 Healthy Meals with Ritual”

The next addition (and subsequent purchase I’ll be making) involves the ceramic dinnerware KHMER COLLECTION. Come check it out with us! Continue reading “Food & Wine | Artemano x KHMER COLLECTION”

Food & Wine | Introducing Sagrantino di Montefalco to Ontario Wine Lovers

It will come as no shock that I love wine. It’s been such an integral part of some of my favourite memories. Cheersing with friends, sipping over a romantic meal or just to enjoy alongside a recipe I concoct in the kitchen at home when I have some down time. I also LOVE to discover new wine and tell you all about it!

It’s why when I was introduced to Sagrantino di Montefalco (via our friends at The Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario) coming to Ontario this fall, I simply had to tell you. I will be personally stocking up the moment these bottles hit the shelves and I’ve got all the reasons why you should do the same.
