Where To Find Me This Black Friday

It’s that time of year again – the holiday bargain hunting has begun and as I prepare myself for the excitement of shopping for the ones I love, I am also being mindful of the fact that I am on a budget. In the past, I was never a believer in Black Friday. It didn’t appeal to me and for the most part the only time I realized it was happening was when I would watch the news after getting home from work. You could say that I’ve grown wiser in my old age (I’m thirty five going on sixty it feels some days!) and now know that this incredible day is an opportunity to shop for the ones I love and myself while saving an amazing amount of money. It will also be how I kick start my holiday cheer and plan to put up my Christmas tree this weekend after shopping till I drop. So where will you find me this year you ask? It’s Never Too Early

Some of you may not be ready for the holidays to be upon us, but they are right around the corner and this year I couldn’t be more excited! While we still have a spooky Halloween to look forward to (this is the first year I get to hand out candy at the house and I couldn’t be more excited to see the kids) I recently received a package from Hudson’s Bay  and it made me realize that all my childhood dreams are coming true. The iconic FAO Schwarz is in Canada – available exclusively at Hudson’s Bay stores across the country and at www.thebay.com – and I couldn’t be more excited. Getting An Early Start On Those Letters To Santa

We’ve already talked about winter on the blog earlier this year, so I guess it’s time to talk about Christmas? Some of you will smile, and others will curse my name, but it is technically coming up quickly. I should explain a little something for those of you who don’t understand the BTS of working in the media – the brands and events that we are attending right now are getting excited for the holidays because in our world we are always looking to the next big season. It may seem a bit backwards, but it’s also kind of exciting.
