I am always inspired by the change of seasons. One chapter of the year comes to an end while another begins. It’s both a little sad and a lot exciting in my opinion. Over the summer, I had the opportunity to get a BTS look at Sport Chek‘s NEW CF Sherway Gardens flagship store and was blown away by the customer experience. As we head into the fall, I have realized that this store is the perfect place to get those back to school sport items, keep up with a new fitness goal, and just to find yourself. Family Lifestyle | Back To School Essentials! #DTDBTS

It’s that time of year, BACK TO SCHOOL! I remember last year feeling such hesitation, and anxiety. I also remember bawling like a baby as soon as he walked in those doors and could no longer see me. This year already feels so different. I know what a school day looks like, and that he’ll be ok. He has friends he’s excited to see, and I have some silence I’m excited for! (haha!.. “I just LOVE talking!” says Lyric, every day.) I’ve always loved back to school shopping, the new pencils, and binders, and stainless steel lunch containers and backpacks and shoes and.. now I sound like a dork. There’s just something so refreshing about starting a new year.

Family Lifestyle | Mother’s Day Gift Guide Giveaway!

There comes a time in everyone’s life when they realize that their mother’s are right, and probably have been all along! I know that I always thought I knew the way to do it, and there was no telling me otherwise. And then I became a mom. (I swear there should be some kind of class or test or something before they just hand you your child and send you on your way.) I was forever asking my Mom how to do just about everything… was I doing this wrong? should I be doing this instead? should I be worried about this? is this normal?… Somehow our Mom’s just know it! Even when she was simply agreeing with me it felt like then I was assured.
