The month of May is coming to a close, and with it there seems to be electric energy in the air. With re-opening plans slowly being laid out for all of us anxiously wanting to be done with pandemic restrictions, not to mention with #PrideMonth around the corner, there’s a lot to be happily looking forward to. PROUD ALLIES FOR ALL

With #PrideMonth in full force, I am going to be sharing a lot of #Pride content with you all over the next month. Both because I am proud of who I am as a gay man, but also to be a voice for my community and those communities often muted in the world for their differences.

I feel, now more than ever, it is important to remember that the first pride was a riot. That our community has taken a long time to get to where we are. And it is with partners and allies that we will continue to thrive and share our ability to be Proud. Rainbow washing happens a lot at this time of year – the idea of throwing a rainbow on a product to make a quick buck while not actually being an ally at all. So all I can say right now is educate yourself on the brand before giving them your dollars. Or come to trusted members of the LGTBQ+ and ask us. So, without further fuss, let’s talk about a brand that is and has always supported us and our ability to express who we are.
