Saturday October 12th and it’s exactly five days before my thirty-sixth birthday. Being that the coming week is set to be one of the busiest for me personally and professionally, I decided that I would celebrate my birthday a little early with Julio to make sure it’s not forgotten like it was last year. A Stay at One of Toronto’s Finest Luxury Hotels

Now that I live outside of Toronto, I find it hard to think of places to stay when I do come into town for a visit. Generally, I spend time with friends or family, but sometimes it’s nice to just treat myself to a night away somewhere. One where I can pamper myself a bit and maybe experience what it’s like to be some place totally different than the norm of every day life.

A Getaway Idea That Won’t Break The Bank

As someone that has been trying to pinch his pennies and stick to an excel spreadsheet budget that stares me in the face as I sit down to write this post, I can usually be found scrolling through travel accounts on Instagram or following along with my favourite bloggers while they jetset around the world. Although that once was the life I called my own, I’m actually much happier to be where I am today, saving for a baby with my husband and working towards our dreams.

That being said, just because I’m on a budget, doesn’t mean that I don’t want to take full advantage of the warm weather and enjoy getaways whenever we can. Thankfully I was recently introduced to a getaway idea in our own proverbial backyard that not only stayed in budget, but left me excited to tell you about it too!
