As you know by now, it’s no shock that whenever I get the chance to pack up the car and hit the road with Julio (and Canela), I take it. While I’m still manifesting (slash hunting for the right sponsors) for a cross country RV experience, I am left excited by weekends away in just a few hours in all directions from Ottawa. With my home city of Montréal only a short 1.5ish drive from home, we are taking advantage of the food, the hotels, and most of all – the experiences that you can only get in MTL this year. Let me tell you about one of the hottest events of the year and how you can enjoy it just like we are planning to!
Montreal and music festivals are a match made in heaven, as we all know. Stay tuned for my upcoming post about OSHEAGA. But before that, the most anticipated festival of the summer is
Some of the biggest names in Latin X music will converge in Montreal on May 27th and 28th, and tickets are selling like fire. We’ve decided on a two day VIP pass to truly enjoy the festival to the fullest and I encourage you to do the same by clicking here.
A couple of things you should know about the festival that I think were helpful for me include the following.
- The Fuego Fuego Festival is open to all ages.
- Only fanny packs, small purses/crossbody bags or drawstring backpacks are allowed. No backpacks or larger purses or tote bags will be allowed. Please also note that all bags are subject to inspection before entering the Fuego Fuego Festival grounds.
- VIP passes give you access to a VIP section, an unobstructed view of the stage, a private bar, a food offer and VIP restrooms. In addition, with this pass, a dedicated fast lane entry is available. Bottle service is available in the VIP section. Alcohol and food are not included.
The festival’s FAQ page is a great place to find answers to your other questions and the team is very responsive via their social media as well.
Now that you’ve booked your tickets, it’s time to start thinking about a hotel. If you are looking for one of our absolute favourites in the city, I highly encourage you to reserve a room at Humaniti Hotel Montreal, Autograph Collection – you can check out our most recent stay by clicking here.
Julio and I can’t wait to get back to Montreal and to take you all BTS for the entire weekend. Make sure to make hotel reservations early and get your passes before they sell out.
