I’m going glamping for the first time and I don’t know what to expect

Over the course of the last eleven years of blogging, I have had the pleasure of sharing some pretty spectacular experiences with you all right here on the blog and via my social media accounts. The list of things I haven’t tried has become shorter and shorter along the way, but surprisingly enough, glamping has remained. Thanks to my friends at Back Forty Glamping in Meadford Ontario, all that is about to change, and I’m here to tell you why.

Located three-ish hours from Toronto, Back Forty Glamping was started by two couples, two brothers, four friends, and a shared dream turned into reality.

If you’re unaware what dome camping / glamping is, it’s exactly what it sounds like. These luxurious outdoor domes are meant to be the rest, relaxation, and (if you so please) romance that you’ve been dreaming of.

With forest and meadow domes to choose from, the experience is yours to customize and make distinctly your own.

You can find more details on what Back Forty Glamping has been up to at www.backfortyglamping.com and via their social media accounts at @backfortyglamping

I should warn you that because of the popularity of their domes and the fact that there are only a handful to choose from, reservations book up quickly. So take a look at the beautiful photos below and book before its too late!

While I visit I have asked the team to organize The Romance Package (125$ value)- which includes a fresh flower bouquet, local chocolates, flameless candles, a specialty local lavender lotion and a local bottle of wine to celebrate. I want to inspire all of you to get to a dome with someone special for a much needed getaway!

While on the property, guests can enjoy meals catered by The Bruce Wine Bar, a locally sourced restaurant in Thornbury. Every touch is locally sourced, and the elegance of the domes is nothing short of breath taking. I can’t wait to lay down in bed and look up at the stars because on a clear night I have no doubt it’s magical.

If I haven’t convinced you yet, Back Forty Glamping offers Canada’s most luxurious geodesic domes on their 40 acre property, which are warm + comfy year round, each with a private hot tub, views of the stars and surrounding wilderness, some nice trails onsite, amazing dining nearby, and the peace and quiet I think we all deserve right about now.

I can’t wait for you to follow along with me as I go – stay tuned to my social media accounts in the coming weeks!

*All experiences mentioned will be gifted to me by Back Forty Glamping

I hope you enjoyed reading and that if you’re not already, follow me on all platforms at @dothedaniel as I share in real time these adventures and more!
