With the new energy of 2020 has come a new perspective on life. With my work I find myself gravitating towards more positive messaging and causes that deserve the support of us all. I am more focused on making my family and dreams of children a reality. And, of course, I am proudly supporting Julio in his endeavors to become an advocate for HIV/AIDS awareness. So that is why I am asking you to join me for a luncheon in support of ending HIV in Canada.
From helping to share a thought-provoking and intimate documentary titled Positive. … Intimate, uplifting, and positive in its outlook, the documentary sheds light on a stigmatized illness and beautifully captures the experience of living with HIV in 2019. For those of you who didn’t get a chance to watch it, I encourage you to below.
After the documentary aired, Julio and I became active members of CANFAR. Attending their events, sharing their message and helping to raise funds for a cause that we love so dearly. On April 28th, The Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research will unite business and philanthropic leaders for a luncheon in support of ending HIV in Canada at its annual fundraiser, Can You Do Lunch?
Presented by Birks, this year’s luncheon will be chaired by Jean-Christophe Bédos of Birks Group Inc., and Jeanne Beker, with the theme Celebrating our Creative Community.
The event will feature a conversation with guest speakers, and will present one leader in the creative community with a lifetime achievement award for their tireless efforts to raise HIV awareness in Canada.
Join Julio & I as CANFAR unites business and philanthropic leaders for a luncheon in support of ending HIV in Canada by purchasing tickets or a table here. If you can’t make it to the event, you can still support CANFAR in its mission to end the HIV Epidemic in Canada by donating online at: CANFAR.com/donate.
