Darling reader at this point my Cashmere Collection content has become a regular column because I love writing about them so much! Well, as luck would have it, the stars are aligning as the 19th annual Cashmere Collection gets set to return to the heavenly-inspired runway this Fall. And when I tell you I screamed when I got the news about who is going to be involved. Let me be one of the first to share the FABULOUSNESS with you all!
The one and only Jay Manuel, best known for his roles on America’s Next Top Model and E! Network, will serve as this year’s curator, presenting ethereal couture handmade by designers from coast-to-coast at the #Cashmere22 full-scale runway event.
THE JAY MANUEL.
I gasped when I read his name because Julio and I have been blessed to be invited to the show for many years, including last year’s televised event with a handful of us gathering safely amid pandemic precautions.
Let’s take a deep dive into this year’s participants and what we can expect from the runway.
This incredible fund and awareness raising event includes seven designers representing Ontario: Demascare, Doch, Kaela Kay, Kyle Gervacy, L’Uomo Strano, Madaleine Nelson and Mimiela.
Inspired by the heavens above us and crafted entirely in new Cashmere UltraLuxe Bathroom Tissue, the 19th annual Cashmere Collection Celestial Awakening: A Celebration of Strength, Hope, and Compassion looks to the sun, moon and stars to create a future without Breast Cancer.”
You know we’ll be there.
“More than 230 top Canadian designers have created breathtaking, original couture for the Cashmere Collection since 2004, all entirely crafted in luxurious sheets of Cashmere Bathroom Tissue, Canada’s best-selling brand. This year’s stellar cast of 12 designers will show their fashion with compassion in new and improved Cashmere Ultraluxe Bathroom Tissue, the brand’s softest most luxurious product ever. The collection serves as an annual fund-and-awareness raiser in support of breast cancer awareness, prevention, and treatment programs through partnerships with the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) and Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation (QBCF).”
