While I wish I could get on a plane and get away with Julio after a few years without a real vacation, I’m left realizing that 2020 can be the year that I eventually get to explore more of Canada. Until then, I wanted to share ways how you, your family and your boo can #ExploreNiagara from the comfort of your home and support small businesses that need us now more than ever.
While the Niagara Falls region has entered into Phase 2, there is still something to be said for exploring it from home while we all plan our next visit with new safety precautions.
With so many virtual tours on their website, it’s easier than ever to get excited about upcoming travel with Julio this year when the time comes. The sights and sounds can be seen from your home while you snuggle up with a glass of wine from the region.
Of course, the main way that I explore The Niagara Region is via the food and wine because those things speak to my soul. With so many places to eat when we go visit – click here to see – I find myself gravitating towards Canadian wines in the LCBO and asking about new wineries from Niagara.
VQA wines are some of my favourites and there are SO many options. 13th Street Winery, 16 Mile Cellar, 2027 Cellars Ltd., Alvento Winery, Back 10 Cellars, and so many more. The options are endless and a good place for those of you looking is to consult Wine Country Ontario while you plan you wine dreams in the coming months.
