As my Friday evening winds down and I log onto the wifi at the hotel, I am smiling thinking about the whirlwind day I just had. For the first time, DoTheDaniel.com is attending a press trip. Not only that, but I am flying solo while attending! No Catherine, No Amanda, No Julio. It’s a strange feeling when I think about it really… but such an exciting one at the same time. When I was 15 I had an incredible opportunity to perform (dance) in China during their International Children’s Festival. I was able to meet kids from all over the world, and I distinctly remember having a lot of talks with some sweet Australian girls about what they have/don’t have/names for treats. Oh, and making them say “Fosters, Australian for beer” over and over again! haha! I’m not sure why it’s stuck with me, but every time I think of a popsicle, I think “icy pole”, I suppose it’s quite literal!
Ever since Lyric was very little (cause, you know, he’s so big now. haha), he’s had very sensitive skin. Maybe it’s because he’s mixed, maybe it’s our environment, either way I’ve had to be very selective in the things I put on his body. Without nightly cream, his skin becomes very dry and he’ll scratch himself in his sleep until he’s cut. That all being said, when I came upon a brand that was based on all natural products, I knew this was going to be just perfect for Lyric!
