The adventure continues

By now it should come as no surprise that I am loving the energy surrounding 2017 and all things #Canada150. We have some exciting partnerships that we will be announcing soon to help celebrate with Canadians from coast-to-coast. When I stop to think about Canadiana and the celebrations, there is of course several brands that come to mind. Recently I had the pleasure of attending a special announcement from Hudson’s Bay where they announced the launch of the commemorative Hudson’s Bay Grand Portage items that will help to connect Trans Canada Trail’s Great Trail in celebration of Canada’s 150th Birthday through its Grand Portage fundraising program. “The Great Trail, which is the longest recreational trail in the world, will finally connect Canadians from coast-to-coast-to-coast, leaving a great Canadian legacy to be enjoyed for generations to come.” Continue reading “The adventure continues”

The most Canadian thing I have ever seen to kick off #Canada150

Like many of you, when I stop to think of Canada, I smile. We are one of the best countries on the planet with a reputation that allows us to be loved far and wide. Earlier this month, I came across what might be the most Canadian thing I have ever seen.  The team at CIBC set up a ski-thru ATM in one of our most beautiful destinations. Yes. You read that correctly. A ski-thru ATM – and I cannot stop searching through photos online of this now social media phenomena! Food & Drink | We are sharing all the reasons how #KFCisForChicken

When I stop to think about food, I am happy to see a growing trend in Canada of sourcing local fresh ingredients. Recently you will have seen that our friends at KFC Canada invited us to the farm to help share the fact that the chicken served in their local restaurants is real, Canadian, farm-raised chicken, just like the chicken you buy at the grocery store. It was such a pleasure to join friends over a delicious menu designed by Bob Blumer centered around the delicious items available at KFC. Come see what the farm experience was all about! Now that July has arrived, and along with it the energy of the summer, I am excited to be sharing the Moores Clothing #SuitDrive again.
