It’s been quite an amazing year, and although some might believe otherwise, I like to take pride in how far we’ve come over the years from our early beginnings. I still remember starting off all those years ago with Catherine and a handful of important people. #DoTheDaniel was very different back then, but we have always been a fan of enjoying special moments together. We still manage to make each other laugh until we cry, and so I thought I’d share another special memory we recently shared together.
It should come as no surprise that we are Glenmorangie fans. You’ll remember that Catherine shared an amazing Glenmorangie recipe with us all recently. So when we had the chance to join them once again for an intimate lunch to celebrate Glenmorangie Pride 1974. While telling stories with friends new and old, enjoying some delicious food, we had the pleasure to trying this incredibly rare release amid some other delicious Glenmorangie products. And it made me realize that although we snapped a few photos, leaving my phone on the table was the best decision of the day! Sometimes you need to disconnect in order to reconnect.

I know that I’m saving my nickels & dimes to buy myself a bottle! But in the meantime, I keep Glenmorangie stocked in the house for those special moments where I disconnect to reconnect with Catherine, Julio & Canela. Because there is no better way to unwind after a busy day in my opinion. Sometimes, it’s the simple things in life that can make everything so much better.
