When it comes to personal electronics, be it my mobile device to the kitchen appliances of my dreams, no one compares to Samsung Canada. Their technology and ability to capture the latest in design trends helps to meet the needs of Canadians coast to coast. Recently opened to the public, The Samsung Home Innovation Showroom (located at 425 King St. W) is opening from 12-8pm daily until September 25th. We recently had the chance to preview the space and can promise it’ll have you planning your next home appliance purchase! For those of you who remember, we got introduced to The Samsung Chef Collection last year and fell in love immediately. So much so, that we added the Samsung VU7000 Motion Sync Vacuum to our home. This year we had the pleasure of joining media colleagues to be introduced to the latest and greatest for the home from Samsung, including an intimate lesson in design by the one and only Genevieve Gorder.
(Sidebar, she’s pretty much the female version of Julio for the design world. Such an amazing woman!)
When you enter the stunning and expansive #MySamsungHome space, there are 3 main areas of focus to enjoy and interact with.
1. The Black Stainless Steel Kitchen

This was hands down our FAVOURITE of the three spaces because, obviously, anything black gets Julio excited. From the slick aesthetics to the finger print proof stainless steel, this kitchen is trend setting AND functional. I’m obsessed.

Setting the bar high isn’t enough for Samsung and by now we all know that. They are the leader in innovation and technological advancements to make the home better for us all. I hear that some even have built-in recipes that come along with their kitchen appliances like the microwave. Yes, the kitchen is making a lot of technological advancements. Food porn will be born of these appliances. Coming from our experiences last year with the introduction of the line, nothing seems to be able to compare to the foodcentric thought process behind the Samsung Chef Series!
I’ve also come to realize that the new Samsung Powerbot vacuum might be my new obsession. Turn it on and sit down to watch your favourite show on the SUHD TV and you’ve got the perfect Samsung experience in my opinion!
